Jeanina Sargent (717) 586-1878 v York
County Council of Churches The Council of
Churches is embarking on a large, county-wide project to become a
Clearing-House for information on services that their member Churches offer
the community. Currently, the information is stored in Peachtree and the
reporting capabilities are limited. Jeanina has created an Access Database
to solve these issues. v
York
County Children and Youth Services When our Database Programmer resigned from our organization,
no one in our staff knew or wanted to know how to modify the Access
Database. This database contained vital information to our organization and
we had no understanding of how to maintain it. Jeanina has empowered us. Not
only did she restructure our database into an organized, step-by-step
process, she also taught us how to modify the database without the fear of
"messing something up." v
Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center Our Program
Reservation database was originally created by an intern as a college
project. Several months after the Intern finished the project and graduated,
it was time to expand the database to include features that would
accommodate the growing needs of the Byrnes Health Education Center. Jeanina
was able to make those changes and automate the database so that redundant
information was eliminated. She also expanded the reporting capabilities so
that the Center could compile statistics on which classes were generating
the most attendance, which organizations attended one year and not another
and other reports that greatly benefit the Center. v
Dallastown
Area School District Jeanina teaches
a variety of computer classes to adults within the community. Through these
classes, adults can gain the knowledge that they need to enter the work
force or advance within their career. She has the ability to instruct
beginner through advanced levels. She especially has the patience to teach
those who have never used a computer and reduce the "intimidation
factor" and the "overwhelming feeling" that many adults have
when working with technology for the first time.
